Hi, I'm Rosie!
I believe in making beautiful things that make sense, look good, & feel good.
I live in New York City now, but I hail from Portland, OR, where I was a long-time food service veteran and artist and student of Psychology. I have always loved people and thinking about how they think. My work as a UX/UI designer began in earnest around the same time I was doing freelance illustration and graphic design work, around 2019. It's been a wild ride and the industry is certainly changing, but some things stay the same: whether I'm pouring a latte, conducting user research to test out a new product feature, drawing someone's live bean portrait, or just walking around the city, I am always thinking, "Could I do something, right now, that would make someone else's life easier? Can I do more to understand them, and to even brighten their day, just a little?"
So that is what I always aim to do. 🌞
